Ricardo ‘El Matador’ Mayorga and Shane ‘Sugar’ Mosley would be having their rematch in an upcoming PPV and it would be a very personal bout indeed due to recent events.
At the last press conference before the bout, Mayorga slapped the butt of Mosley’s girlfriend as she was leaning down. By the looks of it, he couldn't resist slapping the rear end of Shane’s girlfriend which clearly infuriated ‘Sugar’. Mosley went on to choke Mayorga and commotion broke out in the room as everyone scrambled to split them up.
Mosley’s girlfriend was quite pissed and demanded Shane to ‘kill’ Mayorga. Sugar said he tried to do the same and said his girlfriend would give $10,000 to ‘El Matodor’ to let her punch his face.
Mayorga cockily replied by saying that he would give her $25,000 dollars to slap her rear again. The $49.95 PPV has been amped up due to the incident, which has Leo Santa Cruz facing Abner Mares in a free television fight and the Mayorga and Mosley fight being the main event.
