A World Boxing Organization (WBO) delegation will be coming here on Saturday to inspect the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, which is most likely to host the WBO Asia belt match of Indian professional boxer Vijender Singh in June.

The delegation will include WBO chairman Michael Pernick, first vice president John Duggan, referee Mark Nelson, Queensberry Promotions' Francis Warren and Boxnation broadcasting head Benjamin Murphy, and other officials.

IOS Boxing Promotions is also organising Pro Boxing Conclave 2016 on February 21 at Hotel Novotel at New Delhi Aerocity, with the objective of grassroots development of professional boxing in India and discussions on getting WBO title fights in India.

The 30-year-old boxer, from Haryana, has won all his three pro contests via knockouts.

His next bout is scheduled for March 12 in Liverpool, but the opponent is yet to be named.
