The Creighton vs San Diego State matchup will be the first Elite Eight game played on Sunday. It will also be the second-to-last game of this stage as the Final Four participants will be revealed at the end of the day.

Creighton vs San Diego State matchup should be very competitive
The sixth-seeded Creighton Bluejays defeated No. 11 NC State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, right before facing No. 3 Baylor in the second round. Interestingly, Creighton won both of these games by nine points.
In the Sweet Sixteen, the Bluejays squared off against No. 15 Princeton. The Tigers had two major upsets behind them, but they ended up losing to Creighton by 11 points, 86-75.
The San Diego State Aztecs defeated No. 1 Alabama in their last game. Brandon Miller, who is projected to be a lottery pick in the 2023 NBA draft, was completely shut down by the Aztecs, who came up with a 71-64 victory.

Before their massive victory against the first-seeded Crimson Tide, the Aztecs defeated No. 13 Furman (75-52) and No.12 College of Charleston (63-57).
