The long wait is almost over for Bryce James' debut season with the Arizona Wildcats.
Sportscenter NEXT hyped up LeBron James' youngest son's freshman campaign on Instagram on Tuesday by asking fans how much he will average at Arizona in the 2025-26 NCAA season.
The Instagram post showed Bryce's highlights during his time with the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers. The videos displayed James' offensive prowess, particularly his deft shooting touch from beyond the arc. One of the plays showed him grabbing a four-point play opportunity for Sierra Canyon, much to the delight of his teammates.
The question about Bryce's scoring average in his first year with Arizona drew reactions from college hoops fans. Some predicted him to disappoint in his freshman season.

"1.4," one wrote with three fire emojis.
"2-3 points a game. Won't get a minute in most games," another predicted.
"2 points a game just like high school," one fan chimed in.
Other fans predicted Bryce to flourish in his first season with Arizona.

"16," one wrote.
"19 points 9 rebs and 3 asst," another predicted.
"Smooth 18," one commented.
Bryce helped Sierra Canyon win the CIF State Division 1 title in his final year with the Blazers. He amassed three points, five boards and two dimes in Sierra Canyon's 58-53 win over Lincoln in the championship game.
Bryce averaged 8.0 points and 4.2 boards per contest in his final season with Sierra Canyon.

The Arizona Wildcats lost several players through the transfer portal after the 2024-25 season. KJ Lewis moved to Georgetown, while Emmanuel Stephen transferred to UNLV. Henri Veesaar also left Arizona and joined the North Carolina Tar Heels.
Fortunately for coach Tommy Lloyd, the Wildcats have a talented freshman class coming their way in the 2025-26 NCAA season. Apart from signing Bryce James, Arizona also secured the commitments of Koa Peat, Brayden Burries and Dwayne Aristode.
Peat captured the Gatorade Player of the Year award three consecutive times with Gilbert Perry High before committing to join Arizona.
