Houston commit Isiah Harwell shared a birthday message on Tuesday for former South Carolina forward Collin Murray-Boyles, calling him “my boy” and posting a photo of the two on Instagram.
Harwell began his college career in 2025 as he chose Houston over California, Gonzaga and Texas.
“Happy bday my boy stay blessed,” Harwell captioned.

Chloe Kitts also marked Murray-Boyles’ 20th birthday on social media, calling him her “favorite person.” The couple went public in April 2024 and are considered a standout pair in South Carolina basketball.
"Happy birthday to my favourite person. I love you more," she wrote.

Kitts helped South Carolina win the 2024 national championship and repeat as SEC Tournament champions. Murray-Boyles earned SEC All-Freshman honors and led the Gamecocks to their first NCAA Tournament since 2017.
He averaged 16.8 points, 8.3 rebounds, and led the SEC in field-goal percentage. He was the only Power Four player to average at least 16 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block on 50% shooting. ESPN’s Jeremy Woo compared him to Boston Celtics forward Al Horford.
Collin Murray-Boyles’ projection for the 2025 NBA draft
Collin Murray-Boyles is projected as one of the safest picks in the 2025 NBA draft. Known for defense over scoring, he averaged 2.8 combined steals and blocks per game in his sophomore season at South Carolina. He plays with force, shooting 58.6% from the field but 26.5% from three.
The Spurs, holding picks No. 2 and No. 14, could pair him with Victor Wembanyama to anchor a top-tier defense. Drafting Murray-Boyles at No. 2 may be a reach, but he may not last until No. 14, according to Busting Brackets. The outlet recommends San Antonio find a way to land him as part of a long-term championship build.
The 2025 NBA draft will be held June 25-26 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The event includes two rounds and 59 picks over two nights.
