Arkansas fans have plenty of reason to be excited about the arrival of Jashawn “JJ” Andrews, and he gave them a glimpse of his abilities on social media. At the NBPA Top 100 Camp on Friday, he showcased his growing skill set. Andrews dropped 18 points and five rebounds in front of scouts, media and some of the best young talent in the nation.

In an Instagram post on Friday, Slam High School, in collaboration with Top 100 Camp, shared a clip of Andrews pulling off alley-oops, dunks, jumpers and blocks. His performance went viral with more than 1,000 likes in one hour. The clip showed a mic’d up Andrews reacting to the game as he was executing plays.

“Just give me my money,” Andrew said.

Andrews’ expressions highlighted his confidence as he drove to the basket on offense and blocked shots on defense. The 6-foot-6 wing is ranked No. 22 by ESPN and holds a four-star rating. Andrews is also the 2024-25 Arkansas Gatorade Player of the Year, making him one of the most coveted recruits in the country.

Jashawn "JJ" Andrews commits to Arkansas as part of the Class of 2026

Arkansas secured a major piece for its future as JaShawn “JJ” Andrews, one of the top prospects in the 2026 class, committed to the program on May 15. He chose the Razorbacks over several other high-profile programs, including Missouri, LSU, Oklahoma and Marquette.

The announcement was made during a public ceremony at Little Rock (Arkansas) Christian Academy. Andrews is expected to make his commitment official by signing during the early signing period in November.

John Calipari and his staff reportedly prioritized Andrews since last spring and extended a scholarship offer in July. The coach also made several visits to Arkansas to watch Andrews in action, including a key game against Springdale in November.

As a junior, Andrews averaged a double-double while competing in the state’s 5A classification. During his freshman and sophomore campaigns, he led Little Rock Christian Academy to back-to-back 4A state championships, earning MVP honors in the 2023-24 title game.

Andrews also made his mark on the AAU circuit, leading 16U Brad Beal Elite to a Nike E16 championship in July. He averaged 19.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.3 steals on 71.9% shooting , including 50.0% from 3-point range through his first three games on the 17U Nike EYBL circuit.
