One of the images showed him meeting New York Knicks legend Patrick Ewing along with his father, Shaquille O'Neal, during the NBA Playoffs. The meeting took place in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals between the Indiana Pacers and New York Knicks; Ewing was at the venue to support his former team.

There were also images of Shaqir O'Neal chilling by the beach with his family and taking time off after a gruelling season. Next season will be a big one for Shaqir, who has joined forces with his father at Sacramento State, aiming to help the program flourish after a woeful 2024/25 campaign.

Shaqir O'Neal was awestruck by Tyrese Haliburton in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals

Shaqir O'Neal was in attendance to watch Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals as the Indiana Pacers and the New York Knicks locked horns. It was a nerve-wracking game throughout, and Tyrese Haliburton spiced it up with a sensational game-tying 3-pointer that forced Game 1 into overtime.

Haliburton iconically recreated Reggie Miller's choke celebration after hitting the most crucial shot of the night. That shot surely helped the Pacers, as they eventually came out on top in that clash and the series.

Shaqir was impressed by Haliburton as he posted an Instagram story with the choke celebration in jubilation. He also shared some stories of Haliburton warming up and Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns getting to the free-throw line.

Overall, Shaqir O'Neal will take inspiration from these plays when he takes the court for the Sacramento State Hornets for the upcoming season. He will join a team coached by Mike Bibby, while his father, Shaquille O'Neal, has been appointed as the voluntary General Manager.

A four-time NBA winner, Shaq is keen to build a foundation for the program following their dismal 7-25 campaign, which included a 3-15 run in the Big Sky Conference play. The program is yet to feature in the NCAA Tournament.
