That Team USA squad featured WNBA stalwarts Sue Bird and Diana Taurasi, but was missing key pieces like 2019 WNBA MVP Elena Delle Donne, who was out with an injury, as well as Las Vegas Aces forward A'ja Wilson, who was out due to a death in her family.

Despite being ranked No. 1, Oregon's upset over a team filled with WNBA superstars had many fans buzzing, with many praising Sabrina Ionescu.

"She still owns all of them to this day 🤣," one fan pointed out, especially with her New York Liberty being the reigning WNBA champions.
