"She do be in nature tho": Ohio State's Sean Stewart reacts to his GF Ashtyn's snaps from tropical vacation

Ohio State's Sean Stewart is a loud and proud boyfriend who let his thoughts be known. The forward was enamored with his girlfriend Ashtyn Sims' latest Instagram post.

Sims, an incoming freshman at Princeton University Women's Volleyball, posted a photo dump of her day out on the beach on Sunday.

Stewart reacted to the photos in the comments as he wrote:

"She do be in nature tho."

"My goodness 😍😍😍😍😱," he commented.

The couple went Instagram official with their relationship when Stewart began commenting on her posts in December 2023. Sims made her debut on the forward's social media in April when Stewart was her date for prom night.

Sean Stewart shares his reasons for leaving Duke

As a five-star recruit, Sean Stewart had heavy expectations when entering Duke as a freshman last year. However, the Blue Devils had the more experienced Kyle Filipowksi and Mark Mitchell, which meant that Stewart didn't see consistent minutes.

The forward spoke about his experience at Durham during his first media appearance as a Buckeye in July.

"I feel like a lot of people kind of forget that I’m a good player, being at Duke and not playing that much," Stewart said. "So I just want to show that I really can play offense. I’m not a five-man. I can guard the five, do all that stuff. But I’m not a low-post player.

"I want to show everybody that I can step out, shoot the three, shoot mid-ranges, do all that stuff that a lot of people don’t think I can do. And I think I’m going to surprise a lot of people."

Sean Stewart averaged 2.6 points and 3.2 rebounds in 8.4 minutes of game time. During the offseason, the forward has been working out with the Buckeyes and the coaching staff led by Jake Diebler, who was promoted to head from his associate coach position in March.

"I've really been working all summer on my three-point shot," Stewart said. "Diebler, he really trusts me to shoot. He gets mad at me when I don’t shoot the ball. So that’s just really some I’ve been excited about.

"Having Diebler and his staff wanting me to shoot, my teammates wanting me to shoot. So they want me to get the ball in the post, face up, make a jump shot, make a play."

Ohio State begins its regular season on Nov. 4 with the Hall of Fame Series tip-off against the Texas Longhorns.
