UConn vs. Ole Miss: Box Score, Stats and Summary feat. Paige Bueckers

The No. 2 UConn Huskies women's basketball team took on the No. 18 Ole Miss Rebels in the Baha Mar Women's Championship Game on Wednesday night. The Huskies enter the matchup with a 5-0 record, coming off a 71-52 win over Oregon State on Monday night.

UConn was led by a game-high 23 points from star point guard Paige Bueckers, who also grabbed three rebounds and assisted on six baskets.

The Rebels are 4-1 through their first five games of the season, coming off a dominant 92-55 win over Boston College. Ole Miss was led by a season-high 17 points from Kennedy Todd-Williams.

UConn vs. Ole Miss: Game Summary

The Huskies opened the game with a 17-3 run through nearly eight minutes in the first quarter. UConn closed the first quarter with a 19-8 lead entering the second quarter. They carried their momentum into the quarter, opening the period with a 14-5 run. UConn's strong play gave the Huskies a 37-18 over the Rebels entering halftime.
