Team JuJu defeated Team Flau'jae 80-64 at the intense Gatorade-sponsored event, which featured some of the nation’s top high school prospects.

As one of the nation's top 2026 girls' basketball prospects, Edwards has reportedly been courted by nearly every NCAA Division I women's basketball powerhouse. However, the 6-foot-3 high school basketball star revealed she was not in any hurry to make a decision yet.

"I am going to push (the decision) as far back as possible," Edwards said according to Sports Illustrated. "With coaches (movement) and the transfer portal, I want to wait and see what it looks like. I don't want to commit too early. So I am probably going to do it next summer."

Meanwhile, programs that reportedly want the youngster's commitment include Duke, Florida, Florida State, LSU, North Carolina, Notre Dame, South Carolina, Tennessee, USC and Washington.

JuJu Watkins to feature in new docuseries

USC women's basketball star JuJu Watkins' season ended on a disappointing note, thanks to an ACL injury she sustained during a game at the 2025 women's NCAA Tournament. But Watkins has been busy during the off-season. Besides coaching her team to victory at the Overtime Select Takeover, the Trojans standout guard will feature in an anticipated docuseries.

On Monday, ESPN's Alexa Philippou shared a post on X (formerly Twitter) to announce that Watkins will be featuring in the second season of her popular docuseries, “On the Rise: JuJu Watkins” which will be released on Peacock. The series will chronicle the USC star's rise to fame in women's college basketball.

"Little bit of news: “On the Rise: JuJu Watkins” has been greenlit for a second season on Peacock," Philippou wrote. "The documentary series -- executive produced by LeBron James, Watkins, Rich Paul and more -- chronicles the ascent of the USC superstar and 2025 national player of the year."

Watkins is regarded as one of the best players in women's college basketball after two stellar years with USC. Last season, she posted 23.9 points, 6.8 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game. She also ended the season as the Naismith Player of the Year, John R. Wooden Award and Associated Press Player of the Year.
