Kennesaw State vs Western Kentucky: Preview
Kennesaw State is a 24-point underdog on the road while the over/under is set at 50.5 points.

The Owls are coming off a stunning win over Liberty as Kennesaw State pulled off one of the biggest upsets in college football this season. The Owls won their first FBS game in history.
"All we talked about for the last month-and-a-half is sticking together, believing in one another,” Kennesaw State coach Brian Bohannon said, via CNN.
“We said, ‘If we just keep doing it, something good will happen somewhere.’ We didn’t have the crystal ball to know when. But man, I could not be more proud of this football program than I am tonight,” he continued. "We’ve had a lot of great wins here. Nothing was better than that right there.”
In the win, Kennesaw State was led by Michael Benefield. He and Qua Ashley rushed for a touchdown as the running game and defense were solid.
This season, the Owls are led by Benefield who's rushed for 296 yards and two touchdowns. Garland Benyard has three sacks, and Sidney Porter has 43 tackles.
Meanwhile, Western Kentucky is coming off its open week, and before that, they beat Sam Houston on the road. The Hilltoppers were led by quarterback Caden Veltkamp who threw for 281 yards and three touchdowns while rushing for another.
"I thought it was a great team win tonight. This is a tough place to go on the road and get a win like we did. The first half was a total back-and-forth battle like I expected and then slowly but surely in the second half we were able to make some big plays. Defense had a big turnover in their area, we get it back," Hilltoppers coach said to Western Kentucky, via eam website.
"Just a great team win and this is the time of the year where you need these wins. When you go on the road, it says a lot about our football team. We get to recover a little bit, we get a bye, so that's good. We've got some bumps and bruises. Guys need to heal. But sitting in a good position."
The Hilltoppers are led by Veltkamp who has thrown for 1,428 yards, 14 touchdowns, and five interceptions. Elijah Young has rushed for 375 yards and two touchdowns.
Defensively, the Hilltoppers are led by Devonte Matthews who has two picks, Kylan Guidry who has three sacks, and Anthony Johnson Jr. who has 33 tackles.
Although Kennesaw State did get a big win against Liberty, the Hilltoppers are legit and should be able to blow out Kennesaw State here.
