In a recent YouTube video, Sanders Jr. clarified speculation over a Rolls-Royce worth around $500,000. A video had shown his brother, Shedeur Sanders, FaceTiming during the car’s delivery, prompting rumors that Shedeur bought it. Shedeur denied it, saying he's focused on football.

Sanders Jr. later clarified that the car was a sample on loan for 30 days while he decides between it and a Bentley Mulsanne.

Shedeur Sanders dropped to No. 144 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft after reports surfaced that he turned off some teams. He was the fifth-round pick of the Cleveland Browns. A prank call during the draft led him to believe he’d been selected earlier. The prank, pulled by Jax Ulbrich, son of Falcons coach Jeff Ulbrich, resulted in a $250,000 fine for the team and a $100,000 fine for the coach.

Shedeur joins a crowded Browns QB room with Dillon Gabriel, Kenny Pickett, and Joe Flacco. Deshaun Watson is expected to miss the season with an Achilles injury.
