"Bad look": CFB fans react as Stefon Diggs' GF Cardi B shows up to support his alma mater Maryland

Fans reacted to Cardi B attending Stefon Diggs' training camp with the Maryland Terrapins. The NFL star hosted his fourth annual "Diggs Day" alongside his brother Trevon Diggs on Saturday. The Grammy Award-winning rapper posed for a photo with Terrapins coach Michael Locksley on the field to show her support.

Locksley shared a photo with Cardi B on X to welcome her to the Maryland fan base.

"Welcome to #Terpsville @Cardiib @Terpsfootball #Diggsday #Stef #Elevate," Locksley tweeted.

Several fans responded in disapproval of Locksley's tweet.

"No bueno coach. Bad look. Really bad," a fan wrote.

Others reacted in support of Cardi B's visit to her boyfriend's training camp.

"The fact that she supportive make her 10/10," a fan said.
"This so cute. Good luck to everybody!," another fan wrote.
"Love this for her she deserves it," one fan tweeted.

The New England Patriots wide receiver made his relationship with Cardi B public in May, after rumors about their dating began circulating last year. Diggs is hoping to have a fresh start in his career and personal life as he enters his 11th year in the NFL.

He joined the Patriots ahead of the 2025 season, marking the fourth team he signed with since joining the league. Diggs will aim to be a key player for New England, helping the franchise compete for a playoff appearance.

Stefon Diggs' college football career with the Maryland Terrapins

Stefon Diggs played for Maryland for three seasons from 2012 to 2014. Throughout his time with the Terrapins, he played a key role in the team's offense. As a freshman, he led the team in receiving yards with 54 catches for 848 yards and six touchdowns. They ended the 2012 season with a 4-8 record.

In the 2013 season, he finished with 34 receptions for 587 yards and three touchdowns. His performance helped Maryland to a 7-6 (3-5 ACC) record and qualified for a bowl game. However, he was unable to play the full schedule as he suffered a broken leg in the Terrapins' 34-10 loss to the Wake Forest Demon Deacons on Oct. 19, 2013.

He made a comeback in the 2014 campaign to conclude his collegiate career at with another standout season. Diggs led the team for the second time with the most receiving yards with 62 catches for 793 yards and five touchdowns.
