She took to Instagram to share a clip of herself choosing between team boy and team girl. The video, seemingly shot before the actual reveal, showed Deiondra’s mom holding a blue basketball while explaining why she wants her grandkid to be a boy.

Deiondra and her boyfriend, R&B singer Jacquees, are expecting their first child. On Saturday, the couple hosted a gender reveal bash with family members and close friends.

Carolyne picked the right team to go with, as her grandkid was revealed to be a boy. Deiondra Sanders and Jacquees counted down from 10 with everyone present before pulling the trigger to reveal the baby's gender. The blue smoke engulfed the background, confirming that it was indeed a boy.

The couple announced the pregnancy in March, with Deiondra opening up about the health problems she faced. Since the announcement, the duo has traveled to several places across Europe and the Caribbean. With the gender reveal out of the way, the college football world is looking forward to a new sports star for "Coach Prime" to coach.

Deiondra Sanders’ health update amid cerclage treatment ahead of the gender reveal

A week before the gender reveal, Deiondra Sanders went through cerclage treatment. She took to Instagram to share an update with her fans, revealing that everything went well with the surgery. She also said that she would be taking it slow for a few days, which she did before the big gender reveal party.

“I got my cerclage today! Everything went good just a little sore. I will be resting and taking it easy the next few days,” a part of the caption read.

Deiondra Sanders also asked if anyone could tell her the possible after-effects of the treatment. In the procedure, a ring or a stitch is used to close the cervix during pregnancy. It is done in the case of a malfunctioning cervix and helps reduce the chances of a miscarriage and a premature birth. The baby boy is due to arrive sometime in early September this year.
