Pilar Sanders has supported the No. 25 Colorado Buffaloes (9-3, 7-2 in Big 12), especially her two sons, Shedeur Sanders and Shilo Sanders, throughout the 2024 season.
Shedeur and Shilo played their last game for the Buffs at Folsom Field on Friday. After the game, Pilar clicked pictures with her kids on the field. She posted them on Instagram and captioned:
"When you Focus on what Matters, the Only thing that Matters is your Focus! ❤️"

Comments flooded her post, and fans praised Pilar for her role in Shedeur and Shilo's development. One fan wrote:
"You have amazing kids and you should be a proud momma 😍😍😍"
Pilar replied:
"thank you and Absolutely ❤️"

Shedeur and Shilo will be moving to the NFL next year, and Pilar is expected to cheer them in the big leagues.
Deion Sanders avoided Pilar Sanders on Shedeur-Shilo's senior days
The Sanders family was in focus during Senior Day at Folsom Field. Shilo and Shedeur Sanders were among 21 players honored. The brothers soaked in the atmosphere of their final home game with the Buffs, but the day’s events brought forward lingering tensions between their parents, Deion and Pilar Sanders.
Coach Prime accompanied his sons for the ceremonial walk. However, when they approached Pilar, who was present in the stands, the Pro Football Hall of Famer made an early exit.
Shilo shared the awkward ordeal on his YouTube channel, describing their attempt to get their parents to walk together as “like World War III.”
"Alright, so we're gonna try and do the impossible. My brother just got my mom from the stands cause of the senior day and we didn't know we had to walk. They're not gonna. That's like World War III trying to get them to walk together," he said. [4:05]
The animosity between Deion and Pilar has persisted since their 2013 divorce, owing to public spats and legal battles. Even recent events, like Deion’s refusal to visit Shilo post-surgery until Pilar left the health center, showed that the two don’t get along.
