The "Million Dollaz Worth of Game" episode featured Colorado head coach Deion Sanders making a bold prediction regarding the future prospects of both his son, Shedeur Sanders, and Travis Hunter, a highly-talented two-way superstar.

According to Sanders, the duo is poised to become top-four prospects in the prestigious 2025 NFL Draft.

However, on a recent episode of "Fearless with Jason Whitlock," sports writer Steve Kim and Jason Whitlock reacted to Deion's comment.

Whitlock expressed his skepticism about Shedeur's NFL potential:

“I don't know what to make of Shedeur, to be quite honest with you,” Whitlock said. “The offense was so tilted for him to perform well, and then he took so many shots.”

He also raised concerns about the number of hits Shedeur has taken and how it has affected other quarterbacks in college football.

“I've seen quarterbacks ruined in college from taking too many hits, and they're never the same,” Whitlock added. “And then so I think some of the athleticism that Shedeur has that works at the college level is not going to work at all in the NFL... He didn't get Deion's speed.”
“So I don't think he's going to be much of a runner in the NFL,” Whitlock said. “He's going to have to be a pocket passer. And I just think he's been under Deion's bubble for too long, in my opinion.”

Meanwhile, Steve Kim praised Travis Hunter's ability, undoubtedly a top-ten pick:

“I think Travis Hunter is a top-ten pick, no doubt about it. He can play both ways. He's (a) versatile, legitimate playmaker,” Kim said.

However, sports writer Kim questioned Shedeur's talent, and kept him out of the category:

“As I look at these guys like Drake Maye, Jayden Daniels, who I like, and obviously Caleb Williams, ask yourself this, Jason. As flawed as those guys may be, would you put Shedeur in that category of talent and production? I wouldn't,” Kim said.

During the last season, Shedeur Sanders made headlines when he reportedly hit a remarkable speed of 20.1 miles per hour during Colorado's game against USC. Interestingly, not even a single starting NFL quarterback has been able to reach that speed, according to NFL Rookie Watch.

After this feat, NFL scouts reportedly believe that Sanders' ability to run as a quarterback is one of his most underrated traits as a prospect. As a result, if declared, he has been tipped to go in the first round of the upcoming NFL Draft.

Shedeur on the gridiron amassed 3,230 yards, throwing 27 touchdowns, and having 3 interceptions in the previous season. Although, his QBR of 63.1 placed him at the 56th spot.

Is Shedeur Sanders' performance as a quarterback not meeting the expected standards when compared to his peers?
