"I am sorry Alfie": Nick Saban's daughter Kristen sends heartfelt message to furry friend via latest IG post

It's the offseason in college football, and Nick Saban's daughter Kristen is spending quality time with her beloved dog Alfie. However, on Sunday, she had a heartfelt and slightly humorous apology to Alfie, following an unexpected grooming mishap.

In the Instagram story, she posted a photo of Alfie looking up with soulful eyes. In the picture, Alfie is sitting obediently on a plush rug, freshly groomed and looking slightly confused. However, one important detail was missing: his signature fluffy tail.

Kristen wrote:

“His tail was supposed to be left fluffy but here we are I’m sry Alfie 🥲.”

The post struck a chord with many pet lovers who know the feeling all too well.

Previously, Kristen asked Alabama fans to support Nick’s Kids Foundation. She announced an online auction featuring exclusive experiences from signed memorabilia to lunch with Coach Saban. It will help raise funds to benefit children and families in the Southeast.

Unlike last year, Nick Saban's daughter couldn't make it to the Regions Tradition Celebrity Pro‐Am golf event. She shared a photo of the former Alabama Crimson Tide coach while confessing that she was “kicking myself for not being there this year.”

It was the ninth year of the tournament taking place at Greystone and the 14th time in Birmingham.

During the said event, Nick Saban met with NBA great Charles Barkley, who felt honored to meet the seven-time national champion.

“It’s always an honor to be around Coach Saban," Barkley said. "He’s the greatest college football coach ever. I have a lot of admiration and respect for him.

"He’s asked me to speak to the Tide a couple of times, it meant a great deal to me for him to ask me to do that. I would do anything for him just because I’ve got so much respect and admiration for him.”

Last year, Saban participated in Reggie Jackson's Mr. October Celebrity Golf event at the Floridian National Golf Club, playing alongside rappers Travis Scott and 50 Cent.

On the football front, Nick Saban just went through a college football season without being on the sidelines. Instead, he was traveling with the country along with the College GameDay Crew, covering the most important game of the week.
