Ashton Jeanty has been phenomenal on the offense for the Boise State Broncos this season. The running back is a favorite to win the Heisman trophy this year alongside Colorado two-way star Travis Hunter. So far in ten games, he has tallied a total of 1,893 yards and 26 touchdowns, rushing for 256 carries.

During an interview with KTVB, Ashton Jeanty was asked about his performance last week during their victory against the San Jose State Spartans. He had another great game and helped the Broncos remain a contender for the Mountain West title and the new 12-team playoffs.

Ashton Jeanty laughed at the question about his workload on the field. Despite having a total of 172 touches in five games, he said that he was willing to give it all to help the Boise State Broncos achieve success.

"Just another day on the job," Jeanty said. "Whatever it takes to help the team win. Whether it's five carries, its 10, its 30. I'm willing to do whatever for this team.... I love my teammates, I love my coaches. I love this program. I love the Boise State community. It means a lot to me more than I think people truly understand. And like I said I'm willing to do whatever for this team."

The running back recorded 159 yards and three rushing touchdowns during their 42-21 victory over the San Jose State Spartans. This performance also led to Jeanty breaking the school's single-season rushing record, which was previously set by Jay Ajayi back in 2014.

According to FanDuel, Travis Hunter is the favorite to win the Heisman at -400. Ashton Jeanty sits at second (+400) followed by Miami QB Cam Ward (+1400). The Boise State running back is also projected to be a first-round pick in the 2025 NFL draft.

Mel Kiper makes a prediction about Ashton Jeanty's future in the NFL

The RB began his collegiate journey with Boise State back in 2022. As Jeanty gears up to begin his professional journey in the NFL next year, senior analyst Mel Kiper made a prediction on which team is the favorite to draft the running back.

On Thursday's episode of ESPN's 'Unsportsmanlike,' Kiper said:

"Well, I'll tell you Chris. On the big board, he is at No. 10. He's number 10 on the board. So where are the Dallas Cowboys picking? Right around there. I think they're at number nine right now. Ashton Jeanty, I think would be ideal for Dallas."

Earlier this month, Jeanty also opened up about how his family is residing in Texas, and it would make sense for him to play for a team out of Texas.

"If I can script it, my family's all in Texas. Family being there, all the connections, the relationships, I feel like that would be the perfect city to play in," Jeanty said on the 'Kickin it with Dee' podcast.

Before Ashton Jeanty works on his NFL future, he will be looking to end his collegiate career on a successful note. It will be interesting to see if Boise State can win the conference title and compete in the 12-team playoffs for the natty.
