3 Indian spinners whose careers faded away prematurely

#1 Pragyan Ojha

The left-arm off-spinner was a vital cog in India's spin-bowling contingent in the 2010-2013 period. Ojha was a bowler with a simple, fluent action who believed in keeping the ball in the right areas to get wickets. On occasions, Ojha has opened the bowling for India in test matches along with Ravichandran Ashwin.

Sadly, Ojha's career seems to have come to an uncanny premature end as he has not represented India for almost 5 years now. Ojha's inability to bat made India prefer Jadeja and Ashwin over him on overseas tours. In 2015, he was reported for suspect bowling action and has not been the same bowler in the remodelled one.

He has played 24 tests and 18 ODIs picking 113 and 21 wickets respectively. With India having 4 spinners making their mark, it is unlikely that Ojha will be picked again. Ojha's last appearance came in November 2013 in the same test when Sachin Tendulkar retired.
