The Faysal Bank Super Eight T-20 Cup was held in 2011, Pakistan. Lahore Lions were put up against the Sialkot Stallions at the Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad. After winning the toss, the Lahore Lions had chosen to bat first and never looked back as their openers went on an all-out attack.

Nasir Jamshed and Ahmed Shehzad added 128 runs together for the opening wicket in just 10 overs, going at a rate of more than 12 runs per over. Sialkot Stallions bowler Sarmad Anwar was damaged in that game as he conceded 81 runs in his 4 overs without picking up a single wicket. Anwar’s bowling spell even included 4 no-balls that did not help his cause as he went for 20.25 runs per over.

Anwar had a highly unsuccessful bowling spell for the Stallions in a forgettable night. The Lions had set a target of 219 for the Stallions and in reply, the Stallions were bundled out for 173 runs in 19 overs.
