Ishant Sharma has become an outstanding fast bowler for India in recent times. Be it the dry and flat Asian pitches or swinging overseas conditions, he has picked up wickets in both.

This is the fourth Australian tour for the 30-year-old Indian pacer. Ishant was the part of the 2007-08 tour, where he gave the Aussie batsmen a hard time, particularly Australian legend Ricky Ponting.

It is very unlikely that Ishant will be able to tour Australia for the fifth time. As he has also admitted in a recent interview. He said, "I am 30 right now, the next tour, I will be 34 and you never know whether I will be there or not."

Ishant Sharma had an excellent tour of England this summer, where he took 18 wickets. He bowled way better than the figure suggests in the 5 matches. He was swinging the new ball and also made the old ball to move around.

Ishant is currently in the best form of his life. If he is able to bowl the way he has been bowling in recent times then he is bound to be successful on this tour.
