#4 Deepak Chahar

<p>
Chahar has bowled wonderfully upfront for the Chennai Super Kings

Rajasthan speedster Deepak Chahar earned an IPL contract on the basis of his performance in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. The pacer dismissed 19 batsmen in 9 games as he helped his side to reach the final of the tournament. In the previous edition of the IPL, Chahar played for the Rising Pune Supergiants where he impressed one and all with his swing and pace.

In this edition of the IPL Chahar has returned as an improved bowler. The guidance of MS Dhoni has helped him to grow and fit in his role. The lanky pacer often bowls three overs in the powerplay. Its tough for most batsmen to negotiate his swing, his height also helps him to get the bounce and carry from the pitch.

The 25-year-old can be used up front with the new ball. He is a contender for the Indian side in the shorter versions of the game.
