The most recent match on this list, this match might not have as much significance as the other matches on this list have but it was certainly one monumental moment for Bangladesh Cricket Team. After reaching the quarterfinals of 2015 World Cup and the final of the Asia Cup in 2016, Bangladesh achieved their highest success when they not only qualified for the 2017 Champions Trophy but also made it to the final four stage.

Waiting for them in the semifinals was the same team that defeated in both the above-mentioned encounters - Defending Champions India. While India was clearly the favourite entering into this all-important clash, no one was ruling out a victory of Bangladesh after their eventful campaign. However, what we got was a complete decimation of the Tigers at the hands of Men in Blue.

Batting first in Birmingham, Bangladesh put on a great show with the bat and posted a total of 264/7 in their 50 overs on the back of twin fifties by Tamim Iqbal and Mushfiqur Rahim. However, the Indian trio of Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli made a mockery of the total by playing knocks of 124 runs, 46 runs and 96 runs to take India past the target in just 40 overs and bring an end to Bangladesh's fairytale run in the tournament.
