Andrew Jones made his presence heard with the bat

New Zealand batsman Andrew Jones was a late bloomer in the international stage, making his debut at 28 years old.

He made his mark eventually, settling as the stalwart at number 3 for the Kiwis. He was a steady presence at the position, piling on 2,784 ODI runs.

Though he hit 25 half centuries, the second most by anyone who never hit a century, Jones never hit the highly vaunted triple-figure mark.

He crossed the 90 mark twice, with his personal best of 93 coming against Bangladesh
