A 17-year-old, young left-hander, came to the crease and surprised everyone when he hit two thundering sixes off Tim Southee in an IPL match against RCB. But you shouldn't be surprised if you have followed him closely. He is one of the most talented young player going around in the world right now.

He was a top performer in the world cup for India U19 in New Zealand. He is not only an exciting batsman, but he is also a proper left-arm spin bowler, too. He bowled a lot of overs with high accuracy in the U19 world cup.

In 2015-16 Vijay Merchant trophy, he had scored 1200 runs in 12 innings at an average of 112.33, and he also took 59 wickets at an average of 10. He made his Ranji debut, even before turning 17 and scored 94 runs in his first innings.

Due to his impressive all-around abilities, he is already being compared to Indian great Yuvraj Singh. Even though it seems too much of praise for the young gun, he has the capabilities to make it a reality. Don’t be surprised, if he makes it to the Indian team at a very young age. And why not, if you have the talent, age is no barrier in sports.
