After Kolkata Knight Riders lost a match against eventual champions Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 2016 IPL, the champion batsman decided to have a bit of fun. He posted a tweet which said, "KKR bowling attack Holder and Morne" and was followed by a conjoined image of a bulb holder and a peacock.
While most of the fans were completely overwhelmed by Virender Sehwag's cheeky sense of humour, some of them advised the cricketer to concentrate on KXIP's poor performance.

When India's top women's badminton player, Saina Nehwal, won the Australian Open championship last month, she received accolades from all quarters. Sehwag's way of appreciating her, though, was perhaps the most unique.

5. On Kevin Pietersen's birthday
Virender Sehwag seldom misses out on wishing his fellow cricketers and other sports personalities on their birthdays. The iconic opener ensures on most occasions that he provides a touch of humour, especially when he is wishing cricketers he has played with.
Kevin Pietersen was one of Sehwag's team-mates during his time at Delhi Daredevils. So when his birthday came around this year, the ace Indian batsman wished him by revealing what he thought about the Englishman in those days.
"A very happy birthday @KP24. When we used to play for Delhi,I always thought, This KP will send the ball to CP," wrote Sehwag. By CP, the 2-time triple centurion was referring to the Connaught Place area in Delhi, a fact clarified by one of the fans responding to the tweet.

Since they played together for Sachin's Blasters in the All Stars tournament last year, Virender Sehwag and Shoaib Akhtar have shared a special friendship. While Sehwag has kept pulling Shoaib's leg on social media, the Pakistani cricketer has laughed it off on most occasions.
A couple of months back, Akhtar had posted a picture of the Pakistan team during his early years in cricket with a nostalgic comment which read, "Dream team .. Full of talent and characters ..1 of the best Pak team I ever played with.." The ever mischievous Indian batsman was certainly not going to let this pass so easily.
