Rovman Powell and Andre Russell lifted the Tallawahs to a respectable total of 158 in 20 overs. Kevon Cooper bowled beautifully for the Knight Riders, conceding 22 runs while picking 3 wickets in his 4 overs.
In reply, the Knight Riders could manage only 139 in their 20 overs for the loss of 9 wickets, giving the Tallawahs a 19-run victory.
The Barbados Tridents were also victorious in their previous match against the St Lucia Zouks by 25 runs. Wicket-keeper Nicholas Pooran was the star player for the Tridents, scoring 81 runs in just 39 deliveries which included 9 boundaries and 4 sixes and also helping the Tridents reach a total of 173.
The Zouks fell short by 25 runs in their chase and ended with 148 for the loss of 8 wickets in their 20 overs.

Rovman Powell played an important knock against the Knight Riders and will be hoping to continue his good form for the Tallawahs for the remainder of this season.
