Cricinfo awards - Two more special categories to be added

As per a news item published in the prestigious news paper Dainik Jagran today, two more categories of awards will be included to the already established ones for the Cricinfo awards.

The jury panel responsible for finalizing the prestigious awards includes Ian Chappell, Rahul Dravid, Martin Crowe, Sanjay Manjrekar and Daryl Cullinan. The awards are given based on the performance of the players in ODIs and Test cricket.

The above referred two special categories have been decided and will be announced at a later stage. The award function is likely to held in the month of March 2014.

It is worthwhile mentioning that MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan have already been nominated for their performance in Tests and ODIs.
