#3 CA slammed for Perth Stadium controversy

It's just a day to go for the Optus Stadium to make its debut, but a controversial decision has come back to bite Cricket Australia ahead of the opening day.
CA decided to close the shaded seats in the top-tier of the stadium, which has led to fans and officials questioning whether the board considers 'profit' over 'public health'.
More than 20,000 spectators are expected to assemble for the opening day, but seats in the ground's top-tier, which is shaded from the sun, have been sealed. Viewers have been told to occupy the uncovered bottom-tier seats.
Mind you, Australia is in the southern hemisphere (it's summer there), and the temperature's a scorching 38'C.
“I don’t know the reason, I’ve been told it might be because it looks better on TV. But look — 38'C, it seems sensible to let people sit in the shade when there are all-shaded areas there. I would encourage Cricket Australia just to allow people to do that,” Western Australia Premier Mark McGowan said, according to Indian Express.
Cancer Council WA SunSmart manager Mark Strickland claims that Perth has some of the strongest UV radiations in the world.
