Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma form one of the most adorable cricket couples, both being successful in their respective sectors. While Anushka has been acknowledged as one of the finest actresses on Bollywood, Virat has already established himself as a legendary cricketer. Their love story is also one of the most complicated one, as they had several; heartbreaks before finally marrying in 2017.

The two met each other during the shoot of a shampoo advertisement. They became good friends after the shoot and started to talk to each other. Even though neither of them openly talked about their relationship, they were often found spending time together. The Bollywood actress accompanied Virat in most series.

The couples made their first public appearance together in October 2014 in an ISL game.

The media got all over them when Virat blew a flying kiss to Anushka after achieving a milestone against Sri Lanka in November 2014. In the same month, Virat admitted to his relationship with the Bollywood lady in an event where he said, "Whatever is there is out in the open, I have nothing to hide." Anushka also complemented Virat's words by giving a similar statement in another event. "We are not hiding anything. We are being two normal young people in a relationship," she said.

Although both of them were hit by a number of controversies and breakup rumours, they had already realized that they couldn't live without each other. So, despite all the odds, they started featuring in more events together, including Yuvi's wedding ceremony.

When the social media was busy in trolling Anushka for Virat's failures, Virat gave a tight slap to all of them through an Instagram post.

Virat also addressed his mother and Anushka in the same pic, highlighting the two most important women in his life on the occasion of Women's day.

Amidst all the speculations and rumours, the couple finally conducted a secret wedding ceremony on 11 December 2017 in Tuscany, Italy. Virat and Anushka shared their marriage news through social media.
