India’s star batsman Virat Kohli managed to hold on to his sixth spot in the ICC rankings for Twenty20 batsmen issued on Sunday. Meanwhile, Suresh Raina is the other Indian batsman alongside Kohli in top 10. The Uttar Pradesh batsman is at eighth position with 719 points.
New Zealand wicket-keeper Brendon McCullum leads the T20 batting list with 818 points, followed by Alex Hales of England and Australia’s Shane Watson.
In the T20 bowlers category, no Indian bowler has managed to get into top 10 list. Off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, ranked 16, is the only Indian representation in the top-20.
Sunil Narine of West Indies leads the bowlers’ table with 817 points followed by Pakistan’s Saeed Ajmal, who is on 721 points, and his countrymen Mohammad Hafeez – 689 points.
