The ICC T20 World Cup Sub Regional Europe Qualifier C begins on Wednesday, August 21. The tournament is part of the qualification process for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 which will be held in India and Sri Lanka. Two teams will qualify for the global event from these qualifiers.
England and Ireland have already qualified from Europe. Two more teams will join them for the main event. Scotland and the Netherlands are the direct qualifiers and will be joining in the regional final stage.
The ICC T20 World Cup Sub Regional Europe Qualifier C will be played from August 21 to August 28. A total of 10 teams will be competing in the tournament. These 10 teams are divided into two groups of five each.
Each team will play every other team in the group. A total of 20 matches will be played in the group stage. The top two teams will qualify for the final which will be played on Wednesday, August 28. All games of the tournament will be played in Guernsey.
Spain, Greece, Denmark, Czech Republic and Cyprus are placed in Group A while hosts Guernsey, Bulgaria, Malta, Finland and Estonia are placed in Group B. Four games will be played on each day from August 21 to August 28, barring August 23 and August 26.
King George V Sports Ground in Castel and Guernsey Rovers Athletic Club Ground in Port Soif are the two venues for the ICC T20 World Cup Sub Regional Europe Qualifier C. Fans can expect cracking contests between these 10 sides as a place in the Qualifier is up for grabs.
