Chahal stunned the South African batting.

India:

Rohit Sharma: 5/10

The 'Hitman' scored a quick 15 and lost his wicket to Rabada's stunning bouncer. He lost balance and shape to Rabada's speed and pulled it towards Morne Morkel at fine leg. He would've hoped to finish the match along with Dhawan.

Shikhar Dhawan: 8/10

'Gabbar' was absolutely fantastic as he scored a blistering 51 off just 56 balls. The Indian opener played terrific shots and made the run chase look extremely simple for India. He wasn't troubled by the South African bowlers on any occasion and would hope to continue his performance in the upcoming matches as well.

Virat Kohli: 8.5/10

The Indian skipper had one of the best overseas matches ever. He completely dominated the game as the Indian spinners took eight wickets and conceded only 42 runs. His field placement was perfect and took all the right decisions since the beginning of the match. With the bat, he was absolutely stunning yet again. He continued his brilliant form in this match as well and scored a blazing 46 off 50 deliveries.

Ajinkya Rahane: N/A

MS Dhoni: 6/10

The Indian veteran didn't have much to do the entire match except take the simple catch of Amla. He was an integral part of planning and helped Kohli with the field and bowling changes.

Kedhar Jadhav: 6/10

He bowled only 3 overs and conceded 11 runs. Apart from this, he was just a spectator as he didn't have much to do the entire match.

Hardik Pandya: 4.5/10

In a match where all the Indian bowlers were exceptional, Pandya seemed to struggle here. He conceded 34 runs in 5 overs making him the most expensive bowler from the Indian bowling lineup.

Bhuvaneshwar Kumar: 8/10

The Indian opener took the crucial wicket of Hashim Amla and got the first breakthrough of the South African batting lineup. He was consistent with his line and length, thereby getting a maiden as well.

Kuldeep Yadav: 9/10

The Chinaman was exceptional and took three wickets. He took the crucial wickets of Aiden Markram and David Miller and was absolutely brilliant yet again as he troubled the entire lineup.

Yuzvendra Chahal: 9.5/10

Easily the pick of the bowlers as he picked up five wickets and completely destroyed the South African batting. He was bowling the perfect line and tossed the ball whenever required to take the wicket.
