Kieran Powell - 3/10

The opener gave a brisk start to the team but was unable to convert it to into a big score.

Chandrapaul Hemraj - 2/10

Hemraj struck two boundaries and a six at the top but was the first wicket down as well, courtesy off a brilliant catch from MS Dhoni.

Shai Hope - 9/10

The diminutive batsman was once more the mainstay of the Windies batting lineup after the collapse of the top-order. Hope scored a spectacular 95 from 113 balls with six fours and three sixes. He also held two vital catches of Rishabh Pant and MS Dhoni while keeping the wickets.

Marlon Samuels - 7/10

Samuels, the senior-most batsman in the Windies setup, once again disappointed with a poor showing. Khaleel Ahmed extracted an edge out of him on a short ball. The star moment for Samuels came very late in the game as he claimed the most important Indian wicket of all, Virat Kohli. The off-spinner finished with three wickets.

Shimron Hetmyer - 5/10

The fancy batsman displayed his array of stylish strokes but for a brief while. Hetmyer’s quick-fire 37 from 21 balls helped Windies cross the 100-run mark in a jiffy but the team expected him to go on for a longer duration.

Rovman Powell - 1/10

Powell failed to substantiate the faith shown by the team management in him. Batting at the sixth spot, Rovman scored only four runs from 16 balls and added the pressure on the team rather than relieving it.

Jason Holder - 9/10

Playing a Captain’s knock, Holder scripted a responsible knock of 32 and helped the team get through the dangerous middle overs. He then cleaned up Rohit Sharma’s stumps in the second over and removed MS Dhoni to puncture India’s chase.

Fabian Allen - 2/10

The debutant yielded ordinary returns in his first international One Day match. He scored five runs from seven balls and conceded 52 runs in his ten overs without capturing a wicket.

Ashley Nurse - 9.5/10

Scoring a scintillating 40 from just 22 balls at the end, Ashley Nurse made the invaluable contribution to help the visiting team post a competitive total of 283/9. With the ball, Nurse provided the breakthroughs of Shikhar Dhawan and Rishabh Pant. He was named as Man of the Match.

Kemar Roach - 6/10

Batting down in the order, Roach added 19 important runs to the team total. He picked a wicket as well while conceding 48 runs in his 10 overs.

Obed McCoy - 7/10

The newcomer was expensive while bowling but still grabbed two crucial wickets in Ambati Rayudu and Bhuvneshwar Kumar which brought Windies closer to the fabulous win.
