The ICC have announced the latest Test batsmen and bowlers rankings after a historic Test series for India over Australia at Sydney and also the 2nd Test match between Pakistan and South Africa played at Newlands, Cape Town.

In the batsmen rankings, Indian captain Virat Kohli has maintained his top position whereas Kane Williamson has managed to keep his 2nd spot.

Cheteshwar Pujara who made a marathon 193 runs in the first innings of 4th Test match at Sydney, climbed one place up to number 3. He was named as man of series for his 521 runs with 3 centuries in the series. Steve Smith slipped one place down to number 4th.

England Test captain Joe Root maintained the number 5th position. David Warner who was banned from international cricket after the 'Sandpaper Gate' remained number 6 in latest ICC Test batsmen rankings.

Indian wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant became the highest aggregate rating points by Indian wicketkeeper. He climbed 21 places up to number 17th.
