The Lanka T10 Super League is set to kick off on Wednesday, December 11, with the final scheduled for Thursday, December 19. All 24 matches will be held at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy.
Six teams will feature in the tournament - Colombo Jaguars, Galle Marvels, Hambantota Bangla Tigers, Jaffna Titans, Kandy Bolts, and Nuwara Eliya Kings.
Sri Lankan cricket stars such as Angelo Mathews, Avishka Fernando, Dasun Shanaka, Maheesh Theekshana, Thisara Perera, and Wanindu Hasaranga have been appointed icon players for their respective teams. Additionally, teams have selected overseas players including Shakib Al Hasan, Imad Wasim, and Saurabh Tiwary as platinum picks.
The teams have been divided into two groups for the inaugural edition of the Lanka T10 Super League to ensure a balanced yet competitive format. Group A will feature the Jaffna Titans, Hambantota Bangla Tigers, and Nuwara Eliya Kings, while Group B will include the Colombo Jaguars, Kandy Bolts, and Galle Marvels.
