Kerala Cricket League 2024 Most Runs and Most Wickets after Trivandrum Royals vs Aries Kollam Sailors (Updated) ft. Vishnu Vinod & Sharafuddeen N M

Thrissur Titans and Kochi Blue Tigers squared off in the 13th match of the Kerala Cricket League (KCL) T20 2024 on Saturday, September 8. Later, Trivandrum Royals and Aries Kollam Sailors met in the next.

In a match reduced to 16 over-a-side, Kochi Blue Tigers batted first and posted a modest target of 131 runs for four thanks to Nikhil Thottath’s 47. In reply, Thrissur Titans chased the target in 15 overs courtesy of half-century from Varun Nayanar (64*) and Vishnu Vinod’s 46 off 33.

Trivandrum Royals batted first and set a 137-run target for eight wickets with Govind Pai’s 33, Vishnu Raj’s 32, and Akarsh AK’s 25. In response, Aries Kollam Strikers scored 107/4 in 11.1 overs thanks to a half-century from Sachin Baby’s 30-ball 51. However, they won by the VJD method.

Jobin Joy (201) and Salman Nizar (190) are still ranked first and second, averaging 40.25 and 95, respectively. Meanwhile, Vishnu Vinod (158) jumped from eighth to third after scoring 46 runs in the previous game.

Mohammed Azharuddeen (149) slipped to fourth spot while Anand Krishnan (148) moved from sixth to fifth. Abhishek Nair (143) dropped from fourth to sixth while Varun Nayanar (141) secured the seventh spot after smashing a 64-run knock in the last game.

Maruthungal Ajinas (138), Abdul Basith (132), and Akshay Manohar (121) descended to the next three spots, respectively.

Sharafuddeen N M claimed three wickets and moved from second to first spot with 13 wickets. Basil Thampa slipped to second with 12 wickets. Akhil Scaria and KM Asif retained their third and fourth position with nine and eight wickets, respectively.

Biju Narayanan (8) and Jerin PS (8) jumped from seventh and eighth to fifth and sixth after picking up a wicket in the previous encounter. Meanwhile, Anand Joseph, Fazil Fanoos, and NP Basil secured the following three spots, respectively with seven wickets.

Sreehari Nair picked up a three-wicket haul on Sunday and claimed the 10th position in the Kerala Cricket League 2024 Most Wickets List.
