LPL 2024 Most Runs and Most Wickets after Dambulla Sixers vs Jaffna Kings (Updated) ft. Pathum Nissanka and Matheesha Pathirana

Kandy Falcons faced Colombo Strikers in the seventh match of the LPL 2024 and elected to bowl. Glenn Phillips scored 70 runs off 43 deliveries for the Strikers and was the highest scorer.

His innings helped the team post a total of 199 runs for the loss of nine wickets. Dushmantha Chameera was the pick of the bowlers for the Falcons and took three wickets for 40 runs in four overs.

In response, Mohammad Haris made 56 runs off 32 deliveries for the Falcons. Three other batters scored 30-plus runs each. In the end, they made 197 runs for the loss of eight wickets and lost the match by two runs.

Matheesha Pathirana picked four wickets for the Strikers for 26 runs in four overs. He won the Player of the Match award.

Dambulla Sixers took on Jaffna Kings and elected to bowl after winning the toss. Pathum Nissanka and Avishka Fernando scored a half-century each for the Kings. They helped the team post a total of 218 runs for the loss of five wickets in 20 overs. Mustafizur Rahman took two wickets for 39 runs in four overs.

Reeza Hendricks opened the innings for the Sixers and scored 80 runs off 50 deliveries. No other batter managed to cross the 30-run mark. The Sixers finished with 188 runs for the loss of eight wickets and lost the match by 30 runs. Pramod Madushan, Asitha Fernando, and Tabraiz Shamsi took two wickets each for the Kings.
