Pondicherry T20 2024: Most Runs and Most Wickets after Tuskers XI vs Lions XI (Updated) ft. Anand Bais & Karan Kannan

On Friday, July 12, 2024, the Tuskers XI and Lions XI locked horns in the 15th match of the Siechem Pondicherry T20 2024.

The Lions elected to bat first and were bowled out to 122/10. They lost three of their top-order batters inside the powerplay at 10/3 in 3.2 overs. Later, P Vaithiananthan’s 28, Mohanakrishnan Duraisamy’s 29, and skipper Karthigesan S’s 22 off 12 played an important role in setting the target.

Saie Sharan picked up a four-fer for the Tuskers while Hari Shankar and Vinay Murugesh took two wickets each and the remaining bowlers claimed one except Prateesh Saraswat.

In reply, the Tuskers chased the target for the loss of two wickets. Skipper Jashwanth Shreeram R scored a match-winning fifty along with Sunil P’s 24-ball 50-run knock. Ashok Kumar’s quick-fire knock of 21 off 9 aided them to an eight-wicket win in 12 overs.

Anand Bais retained the top spot with 205 runs in three games, averaging 102.50.

Bhanu Anand (141), Ayudh Sharma (137), and Ritesh Gudge also retained their second, third, and fourth positions, respectively.

Following closely, P Akash (127) and Jay Pandey (123) occupy the next two spots.

Ragavan Ramamoorthy is ranked seventh with 119 runs in five games, striking above 165 while Harsh Vaishnav and Mohit Kale hold the following two spots, respectively, with 109 runs each.

Rakesh Thakur rounds off the top-10 bowlers with 105 runs in four games, averaging 35.
