TNPL 2024: Most Runs and Most Wickets after Lyca Kovai Kings vs IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans (Updated) ft. Sai Sudharsan & Shahrukh Khan

Lyca Kovai Kings faced IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans in the first qualifier of Tamil Nadu Premier League 2024 on Tuesday, July 30, at the NPR College Ground in Dindigul. The Tiruppur Tamizhans won the toss and elected to bat.

Amit Sathvik and Tushar Raheja scored a half-century each for the Tiruppur Tamizhans. Amit scored 67 runs off 42 deliveries, while Tushar made 55 runs off 31 deliveries. Mohamed Ali remained unbeaten on 45 runs off 23 deliveries.

They helped the team reach 200 runs for the loss of three wickets at the end of the 20th over mark. Shahrukh Khan and J Subramanyan took one wicket each for the Kovai Kings.

The Kovai Kings lost their first wicket on the very first delivery. They lost two more wickets by the end of the eighth over. Sai Sudharsan and U Mukilesh added 148 runs for the fourth wicket. They helped the team reach the target of 201 runs in 18.5 overs with seven wickets in hand.

Sudharsan remained unbeaten on 123 runs off 56 deliveries, while Mukilesh scored 48 runs off 31 deliveries. Sudharsan won the Player of the Match award for his batting performance.

Tushar Raheja (316) of IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans moved from second to first spot after scoring 55 runs in the previous game. Shivam Singh dropped to second with 296 runs to his name. Meanwhile, Arun Karthik of Nellai Royal Kings retained his third position, scoring 260 runs in seven games.

Similarly, Baba Indrajith and Sanjay Yadav also remained in fourth and fifth positions with 246 and 226 runs, respectively. B Sai Sudharsan (224) jumped to sixth position after smashing a hundred in the last game against Tamizhans.
