Australian captain Pat Cummins won the toss and opted to bat first in the contest. They notched up a mammoth total of 399/8 in 50 overs on the back of another strong performance from their batting line-up.

"It was a complete game for us. Put on 400, couldn't be more happier. Me and Maxwell put on 100, would like to think we'd contributed equally (chuckles). Cummins continued:
