Brisbane Heat Women maintain Unbeaten Streak with win over Sixers

Brisbane Heat Women won the toss and elected to bowl in the last game. The Sixers didn’t have a great start to their innings, as they lost three wickets in succession before the end of the fifth over. Ellyse Perry and Chloe Tryon made 40-plus runs for the team. They helped the Sixers post 146 runs for the loss of eight wickets.

Nicola Hancock, Jess Jonassen, and Courtney Sippel took two wickets each for the Heat. Georgia Voll picked one wicket for 17 runs in three overs.

Voll played a crucial role with the bat as well, with a knock of 39 runs off 38 deliveries. Grace Harris scored 39 runs off 19 deliveries.
