Women's T20 World Cup 2024: Top run-getters and wicket-takers after Scotland vs West Indies match (Updated) ft. Sobhana Mostary & Rosemary Mair

Scotland Women and West Indies Women met in the eighth game of the Women's T20 World Cup 2024 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai, on Sunday, October 6.

Scotland opted to bat first and were limited to a mere total of 99/8. Openers Saskia Horley (11) and Sarah Bryce (2) were dismissed inside three overs. However, Kathryn Bryce (25) and Alisa Lister (26) made important contributions in the middle to keep the run rate in check.

Afy Fletcher chipped in three wickets for the West Indies while Karishma Ramharack, Chinelle Henry, and Hayley Matthews picked up a wicket each.

In reply, West Indies comfortably chased the target in 11.4 overs thanks to Qiana Joseph’s 31, Deandra Dottin’s 28*, and Chinelle Henry’s 18*. Olivia Bell took two wickets while Rachel Slater and Priyanaz Chatterji picked up one for Scotland.
