The Pakistan cricket team which is currently playing in the ongoing ICC World T20 in India is clearly divided into groups as claimed by The Nation. Pakistan has lost two of the three matches they played in the tournament so far.

They claimed that a reliable source, who is also regarded as one of the best cricketers of the country has confirmed that a five-man powerful group has recently come up inside the team. The group includes the likes of Mohammad Amir, Wahab Riaz, Ahmed Shahzad, Umar Akmal and Shoaib Malik.

They also claimed that the players are involved in a shameful act of letting down captain Shahid Afridi purposefully which inflicted huge damage to the team.

The Nation also quoted the source, who is not willing to disclose his name said, "It was time and again feared that who will guarantee that M Aamir will not repeat the same mistake again. But Najam Sethi always advocated for him and was highly instrumental in paving the way for Aamir's return to the national team,”

Amir is betraying the country once again

He also said that Amir is stabbing the country in the back once again. He said, "Aamir bowled with much venom and pace in the first two matches, but all of a sudden, he was not even close to what he had displayed since his return to international cricket,"

He also expressed his thoughts on Wahab Riaz and said, “Same is the case with Wahab Riaz, who is a liability for the green caps since long, but reasons are best known to PCB chairman Shaharyar Khan and chief selector Haroon Rasheed, Wahab always managed to book a place in playing XI despite being a super flop for the last one-year or so,"

Shahzad and Akmal called me to get my backing

He further confirmed that two of the players Ahmed Shahzad and Umar Akmal not only called the source from India with the aim to get his backing. "They were praising Shoaib Malik and pleading their innocence, denying their role or any involvement in the grouping,”

He then added that he not only refused to help them but also reminded them of the players who had done the same thing against former captain Younus Khan.

The source further said, "I am quite sure, the PCB is not going to take any serious action against the culprits and players involved in damaging the national cause. It is the national and moral duty of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, who is also the patron of PCB to take stern action against the players responsible in bringing bad name to the country."

The Prime Minister should assign an inquiry committee to investigate

He concluded by demanding a highly-empowered Inquiry committee to investigate the matter and said, "The Prime Minister should order formulation of highly-empowered probe committee, based on former Test players of great reputation and having no fear and pressure of anyone to submit a report regarding failure of Pakistan team in World T20 and a stern action is taken upon their recommendations and the players involved in underperforming, must be given exemplary punishments so that no player may dare to do so in future. It is the only way of burying this menace once for all, or else, the masses should be prepared for such bad things in future too,"
