PSL 2018 - Statistical Highlights

The third season of Pakistan Super League (PSL) commenced on Feb 22nd in Dubai and the league stage of this tournament ran from 22 February to 16 March 2018. Islamabad United topped the table and Lahore Qalandars finished at bottom

2 - Kamran Akmal is the first batsman to score 2 hundreds in Pakistan Super League

1. 104 vs Karachi Kings at Dubai (March 2017)

4 - Kamran Akmal is the first wicket keeper batsman to score 4 hundreds in T20s

5.18 - Rumman Raees's economy rate in PSL 3 and he has been the most economical bowler of PSL 3 (Min 1 over bowled)

6 - Umar Gul's 6 wickets for 24 runs for Multan Sultan against Quetta Gladiators is the second best bowling figures in PSL history after 6/16 by Ravi Bopara for Karachi Kings against Lahore Qalandars in PSL 2016

8 - Lahore Qalandars had lost 8 matches in a row (last 2 games of PSL 2 and first 6 Six games of PSL 3) before their first win of PSL3 against Multan Sultans in Dubai

16 - Faheem Ashraf from Islamabad United has taken 16 wickets so far in PSL 3 and equals Sohail Khan (PSL 2) and Andre Russell's (PSL 1) record of most wickets in a single season

17- Seventeen years old Shaheen Shah Afridi is the youngest bowler to take a five wickets haul in PSL. He took 5 wickets for just 4 runs in 3.4 overs spell against Multan Sultans in Dubai

28 - runs conceded by Mohammed Irfan Jr (Karachi Kings) in an over against Peshawar Zalmi in Sharjah on 15 March and it is the most expensive over in PSL History

67 - Quetta Gladiators's win by 67 runs against Karachi Kings in Dubai is the biggest margin of victory in terms of runs in Pakistan Super league history

147 - Umar Gul took 147 Matches for 200 T20 wickets and he is the fastest Pakistani pacer to take 200 T20 wickets

188 - 188/3 is the highest team total in PSL 3 which is made by Karachi Kings against Multan Sultan at Dubai

300 - Shahid Afridi became first from Pakistan and the only fourth in the world to take 300 wickets in T20 Cricket. Dwayne Bravo, Lasith Malinga and Sunil Narine are the other three bowlers with 300 and more wickets in T20s
