Stats: Highest strike rates in IPL 2014

We are now at the fag-end of the Indian Premier League season for 2014. We have seen some enthralling batting from some top batsmen this season, some of them scoring runs in astoundingly quick time.

Here, we look at the ten players with the highest strike rates in IPL 2014. It will not come as a surprise to anyone that the man leading this particular list is Glenn Maxwell. The young Australian batsman has demolished anything and everything that has come his way over the last month.

Coming in at second place is Naman Ojha, who’s knock of 79* from 36 balls against Kings XI Punjab is an integral reason why he’s part of the pack. AB de Villiers, widely acknowledged as the best batsman in the world currently, is third.
