#2 UAE Royals
The Indian Test captain jumped on to the ITPL bandwagon when he became the co-owner of the franchise UAE Royals in 2015.
He joined Neelesh Bhatnagar and Sachin Gadoya- in ownership of the Royals. The franchise availed the services of 17-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer.
"I am a huge fan of Federer and with him joining the Royals, my decision to be on board with the team was firm. The Royals feature some of tennis' greatest players and I am confident about the prospects of the team in the IPTL," Kohli said.
The then director if the Indian Cricket Team Ravi Shastri was roped in as the mentor-cum-advisor of the team.
