World Cup winning Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni was spotted enjoying the semi-finals of the on-going U.S. Open at the flushing meadows recently; he posted a photograph on Instagram where stated that he was having ‘fun’ and that the experience was ‘different’.

The limited-overs captain for India featured in the T20 series against the West Indies last month at the United States, and he seems to have prolonged his stay in the North American country. Prior to this incident he was seen enjoying his time in a golf course and made a comment beside it which read, “Perfect weather and surroundings to play golf.”

The Ranchi-born was one of the busiest cricketers in the world before he quit Test cricket in 2014. Now, it seems he trying to get involved in other sports to pass his idle time.

MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, the film based on the life based on the Indian great is scheduled to be released on September 30. ‘Mahi’ is pretty busy promoting the film across various regions of the country. Famous Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput is portraying ‘Dhoni’ while actress Kiara Advani would be playing the role of ‘Sakshi Dhoni’.

The story of a young railway ticket collector becoming the captain of the Indian Cricket Team will definitely look inspiring on the silver screen.

The Indian cricket team recently toured the Caribbean island for a 4-match Test series which the Kohli-led Team won 2-0. The ‘Men in Blue’ have a busy home season ahead with three big teams visiting them starting later this month.

MS Dhoni is set to lead the ODI matches against New Zealand beginning on October 16 at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala soon after the 3rd Test gets over in Indore.

Despite the World Cup winning captain’s departure from Tests, batting sensation Virat Kohli has filled up his place quite significantly. Having won the Test series in Sri Lanka last year he made a statement that he is a man for the occasions. The Test series win against the West Indies cemented his place at the helm for years to come.

It would be interesting to see how India performs under him, especially with so many Test matches to be played in quick succession.
