We have seen numerous funny incidents in the game of cricket over the years. From streakers on the field to pigs invading the ground, cricket has never been short of providing us with some laughs.
In a recent Victorian Premier League match between Fitzroy Doncaster Cricket Club and Footscray-Edgewater Cricket Club in Australia, three players looked to be injured after a hilarious sequence of events.
The batsman takes a huge swing at a delivery and only manages to hit it straight at his batting partner. The non-striker is hurt but shrugs the pain off quickly.
But in the process, the batsman seems to have also injured his right shoulder. While walking back to his mark, the bowler is hit on the head by a teammate from close range and is down for a couple of seconds before getting back on his feet.
Fitzroy Doncaster Cricket Club have contributed the likes of Dirk Nannes and Glenn Maxwell to international cricket while the likes of Merv Hughes and John Hastings have played club cricket for Footscray-Edgewater Cricket Club.
